HEC Infra Projects Limited has announced the receipt of a significant work order worth ₹18.67 crores from M/S Engineering Projects (India) Limited. This project entails the Design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of an HT/LT package and associated works on an EPC mode. The scope specifically covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) system for the 1 * 500 MW unit 6 at Ukai Thermal Power Station (TPS). The company views this order as a stepping stone towards achieving new heights, with plans to bid for similar projects in the future from both private and government departments across other states. HEC Infra Projects Limited confirmed that neither its promoters nor its promoter group have any interest in the awarding entity, and the transaction does not constitute a related party transaction. The execution period for this contract is stipulated to be 10 months.
