HCL Technologies (HCLTech) has been selected by Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) to modernize its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. HCLTech will implement its iMRO/4 asset management solution, integrated with SAP S/4HANA, as HAESL's new Maintenance Execution System (MES) in Hong Kong. This strategic collaboration aims to enhance HAESL's MRO processes, leading to increased efficiency and scalability. The solution will provide real-time data visibility for faster decision-making, improved resource utilization, and ensure compliance with global aviation standards. Ravinder Bedi, General Manager of Finance & Administration at HAESL, stated that the integration of iMRO/4 with SAP S/4HANA will improve end-to-end traceability and offer a unified view of the workflow. He emphasized that partnering with HCLTech is a significant step towards creating a scalable digital foundation for operational excellence and future growth. Sandeep Sarkar, Senior Vice President, ASEAN, at HCLTech, highlighted that this partnership sets a new benchmark for digital transformation in the aviation sector. He added that by combining HCLTech's industry expertise with HAESL's maintenance capabilities, they are transforming engine MRO operations for enhanced visibility and efficiency. HCLTech's iMRO/4 solution is designed to integrate maintenance activities with core enterprise processes such as finance and material planning, aiming to reduce turnaround times and costs while maintaining compliance. Consolidated revenues for HCLTech for the 12 months ending December 2025 totaled $14.5 billion (₹1,208.3 crore).
