HCL Infosystems Limited has provided an update on ongoing litigation concerning its wholly owned subsidiary, HCL Infotech Limited. This update is in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

Further to previous disclosures, the High Court of Himachal Pradesh has issued an interim order in an appeal filed by Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEBL) against an award dated March 15, 2024, as amended on May 9, 2024. By an order dated January 8, 2026, which was received by the company on January 12, 2026, HCL Infotech Limited has been permitted to withdraw the remaining amount of ₹4.96 Crore, including interest, that was deposited by HPSEBL for the RAPDRP project. This withdrawal is contingent upon HCL Infotech providing a Bank Guarantee for an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the Court.

Both parties retain the right to file an appeal against this order. The company has requested that this information be taken on record.
