The CESTAT order had set aside a demand of ₹312.34 Crores, plus applicable interest and penalty, originally issued by the Noida GST Commissionerate on March 10th, 2021. The company was initially informed of the CESTAT's favorable ruling on October 17th, 2025. The current appeal by the Department is at the admission stage, and no interim orders have been granted by the High Court. HCL Infosystems Limited maintains a strong belief in the merits of its case and intends to pursue all necessary legal actions to defend its position. The company has confirmed that there are no violations or contraventions committed or alleged against it in relation to these proceedings.
