HBL Engineering Limited (formerly HBL Power Systems Limited) has provided an update regarding its orders and future demand. In 2024, HBL secured an order for 2,200 Loco TCAS units, with a delivery deadline of December 13, 2025. By this date, 1,659 units (75.4%) were delivered and installed, while the remaining 541 units are considered cancelled as per the purchase order terms. The total number of units tendered in 2024 was 10,000. While deliveries from other suppliers are not precisely known, it is estimated that total deliveries from all suppliers, including HBL, reached approximately 3,000 units. The undelivered 7,000 units are deemed cancelled and are expected to be re-tendered in a new tender, with an unknown date. Furthermore, three recent tenders have been floated, totaling 11,429 units. These tenders are anticipated to be decided before March 31, 2026. The total visible demand for the upcoming year is therefore 7,000 + 11,429 = 18,429 units. This level of demand was not foreseen by HBL when the company last communicated with the stock exchanges.
