Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL), a GSPC Group Company, has announced the appointment of Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh, IAS, as an Additional Director and Managing Director on its Board. This appointment is effective from December 24, 2025, and is in line with the Government of Gujarat's notification dated December 23, 2025.

Smt. Avantika Singh Aulakh is a senior officer from the 2003 batch of IAS. She holds a B.E. in Instrumentation & Control Engineering and a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University. Her extensive career includes significant administrative roles in the Government of Gujarat, such as District Collector in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch, and Anand, where she received Best District Collector awards. She has also served as District Development Officer and Deputy Secretary in the Energy and Petrochemicals Department. Her experience extends to leadership positions in infrastructure development, including Vice Chairman & CEO of Gujarat Maritime Board and MD of Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. She is also currently serving as the Managing Director of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited.

The company has confirmed that Smt. Aulakh is not debarred from holding directorship by any SEBI order. She is a Promoter-Nominee, and none of the existing Directors of Gujarat Gas Limited are related to her.
