Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has announced significant changes in its senior management through a series of promotions approved by the Board of Directors. These promotions, effective from January 1, 2026, elevate seven officers to higher grades, including Executive Director, Chief General Manager, and General Manager.

Shri M Venkatesh Murthy has been promoted to Executive Director. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in Material Management, Procurement, and leading the commercial department, he has been instrumental in steering the Commercial Shipbuilding part executed by GRSE.

Cmde Rajat Manchanda, IN (Retd.), also promoted to Executive Director, brings extensive experience from his over 28 years in the Indian Navy and currently heads GRSE’s Production Planning and Control Department, playing a pivotal role in strategic naval and international projects.

Cdr Manoj Kumar Gupta, IN (Retd.), has been promoted to Chief General Manager (CC, HP & IP). His career at GRSE includes work in core production, the Design Department, and handling Contract cell, Hull Planning, and In-Plant functions.

Lt Col Sanjay Anand (Retd.) is promoted to GM (Security, Fire & Official Language). He has a background in Security & Administration from the Indian Army and has been responsible for the company's security and administrative functions, also overseeing the implementation of official language policies.

Cdr. Harish Kumar, IN (Retd.) has been promoted to GM (Regional Office, Delhi). With over 21 years in the Indian Navy and significant tenure at GRSE, he has been responsible for liaising with various government departments and ministries.

Mr. Manas Kumar Pandey is promoted to GM (Main Works Unit - GRSE). He possesses over 29 years of experience in various manufacturing processes within the shipbuilding industry.

Lastly, Mr. Dilip Kumar Jagattar Singh has been promoted to GM (DEP Ranchi Unit - GRSE). He has been with GRSE since 1992 and has extensive expertise in Diesel Engine projects, serving as the in-charge of the Diesel Engine Plant in Ranchi.
