Greaves Electric Mobility Limited, a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Limited, has launched its new electric scooter, the Ampere Magnus G Max, targeting everyday mobility needs for Indian families. The scooter is available at an introductory price of ₹94,999.

The Ampere Magnus G Max offers a real-world range of over 100 km in Eco mode, a 33-litre under-seat boot storage, and is powered by a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery with a 5 Years/75,000 Kms warranty. It features a hub-mounted motor with 1.5 kW nominal and 2.4 kW peak output, eco, city, and reverse riding modes, and a top speed of up to 65 kmph. The scooter is built for Indian road conditions with a dual frame chassis and 165 mm ground clearance.

Vikas Singh, Managing Director, Greaves Electric Mobility, stated that the Magnus G Max is a result of extensive research focused on maximizing the riding experience, ensuring consistency, reliability, and peace of mind across range, comfort, storage, and battery safety. The scooter is available in three colour options: Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green, and Cinnamon Copper.

Key features include a 3 kWh LFP battery with a 5-year/75,000 km warranty, over 142 km certified range (100 km real-world range), 33-litre under-seat boot, hub motor with multiple riding modes, a top speed of 65 kmph, hydraulic telescopic front suspension, dual rear shock absorbers, a 3.5-inch LCD digital cluster with a USB charging port, and LED headlamp and indicators.
