Grasim Industries Limited has announced a change in its senior management personnel. The Board of Directors, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, has accepted the resignation of Mr. Satyaki Ghosh from his position as CEO of the Cellulosic Fashion Yarn Business. His resignation is effective from the close of business hours on 16th January 2026. Concurrently, the Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Ajit Rajagopalan as the new CEO for the Cellulosic Fashion Yarn business. This appointment is in addition to his current role as CEO of the Insulators Business. Mr. Rajagopalan's new responsibilities will be effective from 17th January 2026. Mr. Ghosh joined Grasim Industries in December 2016 and previously led the Domestic Textiles business before taking on his current role in December 2024. Mr. Rajagopalan, who joined the Aditya Birla Group in 2007, has held various roles in Business Development and Manufacturing Operations at Birla Carbon before moving to his current position. He is a Computer Engineer and holds a postgraduate degree in Management from IIM-Ahmedabad.
