Grasim Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Sachin Sahay as the Chief Executive Officer of Birla Opus Paints. This appointment is effective from 16th February 2026 and designates him as Senior Management Personnel of the company.

The decision was approved by the Board of Directors, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The Board meeting commenced at 11:00 a.m. (IST) and concluded at 11:18 a.m. (IST) on 16th January 2026.

Mr. Sahay brings over 30 years of extensive leadership experience in Sales & Marketing. He joins Grasim from ITC, where he served as Executive Vice President – Sales. During his tenure at ITC, he was instrumental in the FMCG transformation journey, including the establishment and scaling of its FMCG channel. He has a proven track record in launching and growing brands, developing large-scale distribution networks, and driving transformation initiatives. His expertise also includes implementing field force automation and optimizing stockist operations across various business segments at ITC.
