Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (GNFC) has announced a significant change in its leadership. The Government of Gujarat (GoG), through its notification dated December 23, 2025, has withdrawn the nomination of Dr. T. Natarajan, IAS, from the additional charge of Managing Director. However, Dr. Natarajan will continue to serve as a Nominee Director representing the Finance Department, GoG, on the company's Board. In a related development, the Government of Gujarat has nominated Shri Rajkumar Beniwal, IAS, for appointment as the new Managing Director of GNFC. His formal appointment will take place at the upcoming Board of Directors meeting. The company will complete all necessary formalities regarding the handover and takeover of charges, including statutory procedures, for the induction of Shri Rajkumar Beniwal and the relinquishment of Dr. T. Natarajan as Managing Director and Key Managerial Personnel. The exact dates for these transitions will be communicated to the stock exchanges in due course.
