Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited (GMDC) has received a provisional ESG rating of 77.7 (CareEdge-ESG 1) from CareEdge ESG Ratings Ltd. This rating was determined through a combination of on-ground assessments, management engagement, and field visits to GMDC’s operational assets, including structured discussions with senior management between November 19-21, 2025. The assessment utilized disclosures provided by GMDC and publicly available information.

According to the rating agency, GMDC's score places it in the “Leadership” category for ESG risk management. This reflects the corporation's robust governance systems, policy frameworks, disclosures, and performance in the evaluated parameters. The ESG rating signifies GMDC's commitment to transparency, responsible business practices, and long-term stakeholder value creation, aligning with increasing sustainability and disclosure expectations.
