Gujarat Kidney And Superspeciality Limited (GKSL) announced today, February 5, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved two significant acquisitions aimed at strengthening its presence in the healthcare sector and diversifying its business portfolio. The company will acquire a 51% stake in Patel Pharmacy, a partnership firm, through an investment of ₹3,69,75,000 (Three crore Sixty Nine lacs Seventy five thousand only). Patel Pharmacy, established in August 2015, operates in the medical and pharmacy service provider industry. Its turnover for the financial year 2024-25 was ₹2,57,22,391.64. In addition, GKSL will acquire a 51% stake in Patel Multispeciality Hospital and ICU, another partnership firm, by investing ₹8,79,75,000 (Eight crore Seventy Nine lacs Seventy five thousand only). This entity, also established in August 2015, is a medical and healthcare service provider with a turnover of ₹6,46,55,549.27 for FY 2024-25. The acquisition is expected to be completed within approximately two months. Both acquisitions are considered cash considerations and are not related party transactions. The board meeting commenced at 3:30 p.m. and concluded at 4:30 p.m. on February 5, 2026.
