GK Energy Limited has received an amendment Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). This LoE is for an additional 10,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of these systems for the entire state of Maharashtra, under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM Kusum B Scheme. The total value of these 10,000 pumps is approximately ₹254.30 Crores, with a GST-inclusive value of ₹276.93 Crores. The execution of this order is to be completed within 60 days from the issuance of the work order or Notice to Proceed (NTP). It is important to note a highlighted condition from MSEDCL: this LoE quantity is subject to the tender quantity. If the tender progress reaches 1,00,000 units, the balance LoE quantity will stand cancelled. The company has confirmed that its promoters and group companies have no interest in MSEDCL, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
