General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC Re) has announced the renewal of Shri Sateesh Bhat's appointment as Appointed Actuary (Non-Life) & Key Managerial Personnel for a period of one year, effective from 20th January 2026. Shri Sateesh Bhat holds a B. Tech degree in Electrical and Electronics from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Actuaries of India, specializing in General Insurance. Bhat brings over 35 years of work experience across electrical power generation, IT, and Actuarial domains, with more than 18 years specifically in retirement benefits and General Insurance. Prior to his current role at GIC Re, he served as Vice President, Actuarial at M/s Raheja QBE General Insurance Company Ltd, Mumbai.
