GE Vernova T&D India Limited has received two separate orders from tax authorities imposing penalties related to GST laws for the financial year 2021-22. One order from the Office of Assistant Commissioner, Delhi, demands ₹2,70,40,554 in tax, ₹27,04,056 as penalty, and ₹1,82,69,043 in interest. This demand is due to reconciliation of outward tax liability with GSTR-9, mismatches in turnover reflecting in GSTR-7 vs GSTR-1, and ITC mismatches in GSTR-3B vs 2A.

The second order, from the Office of Assistant Commissioner, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, imposes a demand of ₹2,28,40,575 in tax, ₹22,84,057 as penalty, and ₹1,56,36,240 in interest. This is attributed to mismatches in turnover reflecting in GSTR-7 vs GSTR-1, irregular availing of exemption, and ITC mismatches in GSTR-3B vs 2A.

The company received these orders on December 30, 2025. GE Vernova T&D India Limited intends to file an appeal against both orders before the first Appellate Authority. The company stated that there is no material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities, and the financial impact will be limited to the extent of the final order.
