GE Vernova T&D India Limited has received an order from the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, imposing a tax demand under GST law. This action is a result of the reconciliation of E-way bills with Tax Invoices raised during the financial year 2018-19. The total demand and penalty as per the order issued on December 18, 2025, amounts to ₹15,99,531/- for tax, ₹15,99,531/- for penalty, and ₹20,87,980/- for interest, totaling approximately ₹52.87 lakhs. The company stated that it intends to file an appeal against this order before the first Appellate Authority. GE Vernova T&D India Limited has further clarified that there is no material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities, as the financial impact will be limited to the extent of the order.
