Garware Hi-Tech Films Limited has reported a violation of its Code of Conduct under SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015. The violation pertains to a contra trade executed by Mrs. Komal Jagdish Vishwakarma, an immediate relative of a connected person who ceased employment on October 4, 2025. Mrs. Vishwakarma purchased 25 shares on September 19, 2025, and another 10 shares on September 26, 2025. Subsequently, she sold 35 shares on November 21, 2025. The company noted that the connected person, Mr. V Sasidharan, confirmed the default was inadvertent and not based on Unpublished Price Sensitive Information (UPSI). The matter was presented before the Audit Committee on January 31, 2026, which imposed a penalty of ₹10,000. This penalty was deposited by Mrs. Komal Jagdish Vishwakarma to the SEBI-IPEF account online on February 4, 2026.
