Enviro Infra Engineers Limited has announced that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department, Gujarat, has dropped the proceedings initiated against the company. This follows an earlier intimation on June 24, 2025, regarding a Show Cause Notice alleging discrepancies in GST amounting to ₹5,06,65,760 for the tax periods 2018-19 to 2023-24. The company was also facing a demand for penalty and interest aggregating to ₹3,33,24,242 under Section 74(5) of the CGST/SGST Act. Enviro Infra Engineers Limited had submitted a detailed reply with requisite clarifications and supporting documents to the Department within the stipulated timeline. Upon reviewing the company's submissions, the GST Department issued an Order Ref No. ZD241225087382F dated December 18, 2025, to drop the proceedings. Consequently, the matter is now fully concluded, and the company is not liable to pay any demand, penalty, or interest in relation to these GST proceedings.
