Eicher Motors Limited announced its monthly business update, reporting a significant increase in the sales volume of its unlisted subsidiary, VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), for the month of December 2025.

VECV recorded total sales of 10,384 units in December 2025, representing a growth of 24.7% compared to 8,324 units sold in December 2024. This surge was driven by strong performance across various segments.

Within Eicher Trucks and Buses (inclusive of EVs), total sales reached 10,177 units, a 26.7% increase year-on-year. Domestic sales saw a substantial rise of 26.3% to 9,527 units, primarily boosted by a 44.4% growth in SCV/LMD Trucks (< 18.5T) to 5,258 units and a 22.7% increase in HD Trucks (≥18.5T) to 2,622 units. LMD Bus sales, however, saw a marginal dip of 9.9% to 1,430 units.

Exports also performed robustly, with total export sales growing by 32.7% to 650 units. Notably, HD exports surged by 112.5% to 85 units, and Bus exports increased by 55.0% to 203 units.

For the year-to-date period (2025-26), VECV's total sales stood at 69,597 units, marking a 13.2% increase over the 61,486 units sold in the corresponding period of the previous year. Eicher Trucks and Buses (inclusive of EVs) contributed 67,762 units, up 13.6% year-on-year. Domestic sales grew by 11.3% to 62,447 units, while exports saw a remarkable 51.3% jump to 5,315 units.

Volvo Trucks & Buses, however, experienced a slight decline of 0.5% in sales for the year-to-date period, with 1,835 units sold compared to 1,845 units in the previous year.
