He has held significant policy-making and governance roles, including Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax and Director General at the Competition Commission of India. Currently, he serves as an Independent Director at Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) and is also engaged as a Senior Advisor at Raigad Pen Growth Centre Ltd., Corporate Advisor at Tamil Nadu Coke & Power Ltd., and Financial Advisor at Malwanchal University. Mr. Chauhan is not related to any existing Director of Easy Trip Planners Limited and is not debarred from holding a director's office by any authority.
