Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited has announced the upcoming transfer of unpaid and unclaimed dividend amounts for the Financial Year 2018-19, along with the corresponding equity shares, to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Demat Account. This action is mandated by Section 124(6) of the Companies Act, 2013, and the IEPF Authority Rules, 2016. The final dividend declared for FY 2018-19, which has remained unclaimed for seven years, is due for transfer to the IEPF on October 8, 2026. Similarly, the equity shares on which these dividends were unclaimed for seven consecutive years will also be transferred. The company has already dispatched individual notices to shareholders whose dividends are unclaimed and whose shares are liable for transfer, advising them to claim their dues expeditiously. A comprehensive list of these shareholders and dividend details is available on the company's website at www.dhampursugar.com. For shareholders holding shares in physical form, duplicate share certificates will be issued for the purpose of transfer to the IEPF Suspense Account. Upon issuance, these will be converted to DEMAT form and transferred to the IEPF. Original share certificates will be deemed cancelled. Shareholders are urged to claim their dividends and shares before the transfer deadline to avoid further action.
