Dalmia Bharat Limited announced the successful commencement of commercial production at its subsidiary, Dalmia Cement (North East) Limited (DCNEL), for a new 3.6 MTPA Clinkerisation unit. This facility is located at the Umrangso unit in Dima Hasao, Assam. The company had previously disclosed plans for this capacity expansion on May 27, 2023. With this new capacity coming online as of January 20, 2026, the total clinker manufacturing capacity for the Dalmia Bharat Group has increased to 27.1 MTPA. The Group's total cement grinding capacity currently stands at 49.5 MTPA. This expansion is a significant step in the company's ongoing capacity enhancement initiatives. This announcement is an update regarding the capacity expansion project, as per the requirements of Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
