Cyient Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Cyient Semiconductors Singapore Pte. Ltd., has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake exceeding 65% in Kinetic Technologies. The acquisition, approved by the Board of Directors on 17 December 2025, is a strategic move to drive custom power IC leadership for edge AI and high-performance compute markets. Kinetic Technologies, incorporated in 2006 and headquartered in the USA, is a power semiconductor company specializing in analog and mixed-signal design. The purchase consideration for the majority stake is up to USD 93 million (approximately ₹773 crore). Kinetic Technologies reported unaudited revenues of USD 41 million (approximately ₹341 crore) for CY 25E, USD 37 million (approximately ₹308 crore) for CY 24, and USD 63 million (approximately ₹524 crore) for CY 23. The acquisition is expected to be completed by April 30, 2026. This transaction is not considered a related party transaction. Cyient aims to leverage Kinetic's expertise to enhance its offerings in power semiconductor solutions.
