Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has announced the receipt of a significant empanelment letter from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). This empanelment allows Crompton to undertake Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) with PV Modules. These systems will be deployed under the MTSKPY/PM-KUSUM scheme across various locations in Maharashtra. The total value of this order, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST), amounts to ₹46,20,48,229.00 (approximately ₹46.20 crore). The scope of work includes providing 2000 Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems. The execution of these contracts is expected to be completed within 60 days from the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) or the work order. This contract is with a domestic entity, and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has confirmed that neither its promoters nor group companies have any interest in MSEDCL, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
