Craftsman Automation Limited announced on January 28, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved the establishment of a new plant/unit/factory in Ludhiana, Punjab. This strategic move aims to enhance operational convenience and ensure timely, efficient delivery of services to customers in the Ludhiana region. The investment required for this new facility is estimated at ₹60 Crores. The financing for this capital expenditure will be sourced through 90% term loans and the remaining 10% from internal accruals. The company anticipates that the proposed capacity addition, which represents 5% of the powertrain capacity at peak level, will be completed within 9 to 12 months. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to optimize its operations and better serve its customer base in the northern region. The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
