Coal India Limited has announced an upgradation of the pay scale for its executives up to the mid-level. This upgradation has been made notionally effective from January 1, 2017. The financial implications of this revised pay scale will be payable starting from August 23, 2023. The company estimates the total financial impact of this pay scale revision to be approximately ₹3400 Crores for the period extending up to December 31, 2026. This disclosure is made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
