Coal India Limited (CIL) has released the provisional e-auction data for coal and coal products for the month of February 2026 and the cumulative period from April 2025 to February 2026. The data pertains to CIL and its subsidiary companies including ECL, BCCL, CCL, NCL, WCL, SECL, MCL, and NEC. For the month of February 2026, the total quantity offered across all subsidiaries was 265.51 lakh tonnes, with 110.85 lakh tonnes allocated. The percentage of quantity allocated varied significantly among subsidiaries, ranging from 19% to 81%. The increase over the notified price also showed considerable variation, from 23% to 62%. In the cumulative period from April 2025 to February 2026, CIL offered 1896.18 lakh tonnes and allocated 884.04 lakh tonnes. The allocation percentage for subsidiaries ranged from 36% to 81%, and the increase over the notified price ranged from 23% to 55%.
