Chemplast Sanmar Limited announced the outcome of its Board Meeting held on January 10, 2026, detailing several key appointments and reappointments of Directors.

As recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board approved the reappointment of Mr. Ramkumar Shankar as Managing Director for a period of two months, effective February 1, 2026, concluding on March 31, 2026. This interim reappointment is to ensure his continued guidance until the close of the current financial year 2025-26. Mr. Shankar, a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive industrial experience, has been instrumental in heading the chloro-vinyl business and managing the company successfully.

The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. S. Ganeshkumar as a Director and subsequently as Managing Director for a term of three years, effective April 1, 2026. Mr. Ganeshkumar brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including CEO and Managing Director of TCI Sanmar Chemicals S.A.E., Egypt, and leadership positions at Raymond Limited and JK Files (India) Limited.

Furthermore, the Board approved the re-appointment of Mr. Aditya Jain, Mr. Sanjay Vijay Bhandarkar, Dr. (Mrs.) Lakshmi Vijayakumar, and Mr. Prasad Raghava Menon as Independent Directors for their second term of five consecutive years, commencing April 26, 2026. These directors bring diverse expertise in finance, business strategy, corporate governance, and other specialized fields.
