Chemplast Sanmar Limited announced the outcome of its Board Meeting held on January 10, 2026. The Board, as recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved several key appointments and reappointments of Directors, subject to shareholder and other necessary approvals.

Mr. Ramkumar Shankar has been reappointed as the Managing Director of the Company for a period of two months, from February 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026. This reappointment is intended to leverage his expertise until the close of the current financial year. He has been serving as the Managing Director since February 1, 2021, and his current term was set to end on January 31, 2026.

Mr. S Ganeshkumar has been appointed as a Director of the Company effective April 1, 2026, and will also assume the role of Managing Director for a period of three years from the same date. Mr. Ganeshkumar brings extensive experience from his roles at TCI Sanmar Chemicals S.A.E., Egypt, and prior positions at Raymond Limited and JK Files (India) Limited.

Furthermore, Mr. Aditya Jain, Mr. Sanjay Vijay Bhandarkar, Dr. (Mrs.) Lakshmi Vijayakumar, and Mr. Prasad Raghava Menon have been reappointed as Independent Directors of the Company. Their second term of five consecutive years will commence from April 26, 2026.

All appointed directors have confirmed they are not debarred from holding such positions by any regulatory authority. The Board meeting commenced at 11:30 AM and concluded at 12:10 PM.
