Chemfab Alkalis Limited has successfully commissioned a new generation INEOS Electrolyser, replacing its existing 30-year-old 2nd-Generation UHDE Electrolyser and associated equipment. This upgrade is expected to improve overall efficiency and optimize costs, leading to an enhanced operating rate with better reliability. The company anticipates power savings starting from the fourth quarter (Q4) of the Financial Year 2025-26. The consent capacity remains unchanged at 180 tonnes per day. The capital expenditure invested in this project is approximately ₹57 Crores, funded through internal accruals. This strategic replacement aims to modernize the company's infrastructure and improve operational performance.
