G.G. Tronics India Private Limited (GGT), a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, has secured a significant order worth ₹433.34 crore (inclusive of taxes) from Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Government of India. The order is for the supply and deployment of KAVACH, India's indigenous Train Collision Avoidance System, with an execution timeline of one year. The scope of the order includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-board KAVACH locomotive equipment, as well as an annual maintenance contract (AMC) for 11 years, commencing from the fifth year onwards at 3% per annum. This award reinforces GGT's role as a partner to Indian Railways in modernizing its safety systems. Tronics to deliver mission-critical safety solutions for Indian Railways, emphasizing KAVACH's role in enhancing operational safety. GGT is also in the advanced stages of securing final RDSO clearance for KAVACH 4.0, having completed mandatory safety tests, with the Independent Safety Assessment (ISA) scheduled for February 2026.
