Centum Electronics Limited has announced a significant change in its senior management personnel. Dr. Vinod Chippalkatti, who previously served as President of the Strategic Electronics Business Unit (SEBU), has been redesignated as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Centum Group, with immediate effect.

Dr. Chippalkatti continues to be an integral part of the company's senior management. His career at Centum spans over 25 years, during which he has held various leadership positions, including heading the design and engineering function. He has been instrumental in delivering mission-critical solutions for strategic platforms such as satellites, launch vehicles, radars, and missiles.

Prior to his tenure at Centum, Dr. Chippalkatti dedicated a decade to ISRO, contributing to India's pioneering communication satellites. He holds a BE (ECE) from NITK Suratkal, a Master’s in Engineering from IISc Bangalore, a PhD, and a PG Diploma in IP Law from NLSIU, Bangalore. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Indian Space Association (ISPA).

This redesignation is in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
