Carraro India Limited has received an Order Giving Effect (OGE) dated January 16, 2026, from the Principal Commissioner of Income-tax, Circle-1(1), Pune. This order, issued under the Income Tax Act, 1961, gives effect to a Bombay High Court order that allowed the company's writ petition.

The company has been granted relief from a tax demand for Assessment Year 2011-12, amounting to ₹2,73,68,742 (Rupees Two Crore Seventy-Three Lakh Sixty-Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Two). This relief will reduce the contingent liabilities by the same amount.

Furthermore, Carraro India will receive a tax refund of ₹5,26,00,000 (Rupees Five Crores Twenty-Six Lakh), which was paid under protest during the appeal process for the aforementioned assessment year. The OGE, with DIN & Document No. ITBA/GEA/S/91/2025-26/1084874057(1), was received on the Income Tax portal on January 16, 2026.
