Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ramesh S as the Head of Procurement and designated him as Senior Management Personnel. This appointment, approved by the Board of Directors upon the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, is effective from April 03, 2026. Mr. Ramesh S brings nearly 28 years of extensive experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Sourcing, with a background in automotive and industrial Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras. His career includes significant roles at Royal Enfield, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, TAFE, and Elgi Equipments, where he contributed to new product development and operational scaling. Notably, he was involved in the development of models like the Himalayan and Interceptor 650 at Royal Enfield and led the supply chain strategy for the TREO electric 3-wheeler range at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, increasing production capacity significantly.
