Blue Dart Aviation Limited (BDAL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Dart Express Limited, has received a favorable order from the adjudicating authority regarding a Show Cause Cum Demand Notice. The notice, initially issued under the CGST Act, 2017 / TNGST Act, 2017 for the period April 2021 to March 2023, proposed a demand of ₹420.79 crore. Following detailed submissions by BDAL, the adjudicating authority, in an order dated December 30, 2025 (received December 31, 2025), significantly reduced the demand. An amount of ₹420.14 crore, related to the determination of the place of supply and input tax credit, was set aside. The revised demand now stands at ₹64.98 lakh, along with applicable interest of ₹41.72 lakh and a penalty of ₹6.50 lakh. BDAL has voluntarily accepted and discharged the revised tax and interest amounts to avoid further litigation. The company anticipates no significant impact on its financials or operations due to this outcome.
