Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has reported its Q3 FY 2025-26 results, showing a significant increase in financial performance compared to the previous year. For the third quarter of FY 2025-26, BHEL recorded revenue from operations of ₹8,473 crore, a notable rise from ₹7,277 crore in Q3 FY 2024-25. The company's EBITDA also saw a substantial jump to ₹772 crore from ₹420 crore in the same period last year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased to ₹512 crore in Q3 FY 2025-26, compared to ₹169 crore in Q3 FY 2024-25. Consequently, Profit After Tax (PAT) surged to ₹382 crore, up from ₹125 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. For the cumulative period up to Q3 FY 2025-26, BHEL's revenue from operations stood at ₹21,472 crore, an increase from ₹19,346 crore up to Q3 FY 2024-25. EBITDA for the nine-month period was ₹1,183 crore, up from ₹754 crore. Profit Before Tax rose to ₹397 crore from ₹21 crore, and Profit After Tax increased to ₹295 crore from ₹9 crore in the respective periods. The company's order book remains robust, with outstanding orders exceeding ₹2,22,800 crore as of December 31, 2025. Order inflow up to Q3 FY 2025-26 was reported at over ₹45,900 crore. Prominent orders received during Q3 FY 2025-26 include EPC for 1x800MW Darlipali STPP Stage-II, E&M Package for 3x16MW Chanju-III HEP, and various packages for Indian Railways and the oil and gas sector. BHEL also highlighted its contributions to ISRO's satellite launches and its role in the defence sector. Operational highlights for Q3 FY 2025-26 include the synchronization of 800 MW U#1 of Patratu STPP and 800 MW U#3 of Yadadri TPS. The company also commissioned a Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU) at IOCL Paradip Refinery and successfully completed the proof-firing of its third upgraded Super Rapid Gun Mount (SRGM). In a notable achievement, BHEL presented a final dividend of ₹109.98 crore for FY 2024-25 to the Government of India on December 15, 2025. The company also received several awards and accolades, including Gold Awards at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles 2025 and a Platinum Award from APEX India Foundation.
