Bartronics India Limited (BIL) is set to launch a voice-first, multilingual AI-powered agri-tech application in March, following a successful pilot phase in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The enhanced platform will integrate AI-supported, voice-first interaction across major regional languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, and Kannada, aiming to transform the application into a conversational digital assistant. This development is part of Project Avio Agritech, which aims to onboard 20 million farmers over the next three years. The pilot phase demonstrated strong farmer engagement, supported by assured off-take linkages through strategic partnerships with SNN and Origo Commodities. The new application will offer multilingual voice navigation, proactive alerts, contextual advisories, farmer education, and interactive knowledge support. It is also designed to capture structured, consent-driven farmer data to connect farmers with electronic mandis (eMandis) and broader output marketplaces, potentially enabling participation in climate and sustainability-linked initiatives like carbon credit programs. Vidhya Sagar Reddy, Managing Director of Bartronics India Limited, stated, "Our goal is to onboard 20 million farmers over the next three years through this platform." Bartronics India Limited is a rural financial inclusion and technology company that currently delivers last-mile banking and digital financial services across nearly 5,000 villages.
