AVG Logistics Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Baidyanath LNG Private Limited to address LNG infrastructure requirements and promote LNG fueling solutions in India. This partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of LNG-powered transportation solutions across key industrial sectors, including steel and metals, FMCG, and cement. AVG Logistics will leverage its extensive network and customer relationships, while Baidyanath LNG will provide access to LNG fleets, fueling infrastructure, and technical expertise. Under the agreement, Baidyanath LNG will support AVG Logistics with dedicated LNG-powered fleets and access to its LNG filling stations, and collaborate on customized LNG solutions. AVG Logistics will, in turn, promote the use of LNG as a cleaner alternative fuel to its customers. Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Managing Director & CEO of AVG Logistics Limited, stated that this collaboration aligns with the company's strategic focus on sustainable and profitable growth, expecting enhanced operating efficiency, optimized fuel costs, and margin expansion. Vaddadi Subbarao, Director of BLNG, expressed enthusiasm for developing an LNG corridor in India and enabling sustainable heavy trucking. The MOU is valid for an initial five-year period and aligns with India's clean energy initiatives and AVG's commitment to operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. Financial terms will be finalized under separate agreements.
