Arisinfra Solutions Limited has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JS Infra Solutions to explore collaboration in the asphalt and road infrastructure materials sector. This move targets India's substantial asphalt market, estimated at approximately ₹35,000+ crore (USD 4.2 billion), with projected demand to reach ~31 million tonnes. The collaboration aims to combine JS Infra's on-ground execution capabilities with Arisinfra's operating infrastructure, sourcing, and technology. The initial focus will be on the Mumbai region, with potential for replication in other infrastructure-intensive areas. This partnership-led, asset-light approach seeks to leverage JS Infra's experience in executing projects like arterial roads and metro-linked infrastructure, alongside Arisinfra's established systems. Ronak Morbia, Chairman & Managing Director of ArisInfra, highlighted the increasing importance of execution quality in India's road infrastructure. Pinal Kothari, Owner of JS Infra Solutions, emphasized combining operating systems, sourcing scale, and execution experience. Any definitive arrangement, such as a joint venture, will require further definitive agreements and regulatory approvals, with no binding obligations or capital commitments at this stage.
