Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited (ASPHL) has announced its expansion into Kerala with the addition of three boutique properties to its luxury hotel brand, THE Park Collection. These properties include The Malabar House in Fort Kochi, Purity, a lakefront retreat in Alappuzha, and the houseboat Discovery. The Malabar House, a member of Relais & Châteaux, is a heritage boutique hotel with origins dating back to 1755. Purity offers minimalist luxury and sustainability-led operations, complemented by the premium houseboat Discovery for immersive stays. Vijay Dewan, Managing Director of ASPHL, stated that these additions align with the company's strategy to deepen its presence in the luxury and heritage hospitality segment with highly differentiated assets. He further added that these are viewed as high-yielding properties in the Kerala leisure market, supported by strong year-round demand. THE Park Collection features design-led properties with heritage value and experience-rich destinations, joining other notable acquisitions like Zillion hotels in Mumbai. ASPHL remains disciplined in capital deployment, focusing on value-accretive opportunities that meet its investment criteria.
