Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (AWHCL) announced that its material subsidiary, AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited, has been awarded two significant contracts by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for the Collection & Transportation (C&T) of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW).
The contracts were awarded to a consortium/Joint Venture where AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited holds a 51% stake, along with M/s. Jigar Transport Company (29%) and M/s. M. K. These contracts are for a period of seven years.
Under the terms of the agreements, the Joint Venture will be responsible for the collection and transportation of approximately 1,250 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) of MSW across various wards of Mumbai.
