All Time Plastics Limited (ATPL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the North East Cane and Bamboo Development Council (NECBDC), a statutory body under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER), Government of India. The agreement was signed in Guwahati in the presence of the Honourable Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia. Under this MOU, ATPL will serve as a Product and Market Development Partner (PMDP) to support initiatives focused on the development and value addition of engineered bamboo boards and panels from the North Eastern Region. The collaboration, initially focusing on Assam and Nagaland, aims to facilitate ecosystem-level interventions in product development, prototyping, manufacturing processes, sustainability certification, and market linkage for these bamboo products. The MoU establishes a non-exclusive and non-binding framework for collaboration, valid for three years unless extended by mutual consent. Any future commercial engagement or investment will be governed by separate agreements. This partnership provides ATPL with a structured entry into the engineered bamboo sector, aligning with its long-term focus on responsible sourcing and material diversification. Mr. Kailesh Shah, Chairman & Managing Director of All Time Plastics Limited, stated that the MOU offers a policy-supported framework to explore collaboration in the engineered bamboo segment, a globally relevant sustainable material. Mr. M.C. Omi Ningshen, Managing Director of NECBDC, highlighted that the partnership brings critical industry expertise to promote engineered bamboo as a modern industrial material and bridge the gap between North Eastern bamboo clusters and national/global markets.
