Akzo Nobel India Limited announced significant changes in its board of directors following a meeting held on January 9, 2026. The board appointed Mr. Shantanu Maharaj Khosla as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director for a term of three years, effective from January 9, 2026, until January 8, 2029. Mr. Khosla brings approximately 43 years of experience, having held leadership positions at P&G India and served as the first Managing Director of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited.

Additionally, Mr. Parth Jindal has been appointed as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Director (Non-independent) and designated as the Chairman of the Company, effective January 9, 2026. Mr. Jindal is the Managing Director of JSW Cement Limited and JSW Paints Limited and brings over 14 years of experience in management and finance.

Furthermore, Mr. Rajiv Rajgopal has been re-designated from Chairman and Managing Director to Joint Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, effective January 9, 2026. His terms of appointment remain unchanged, as previously approved by shareholders. These appointments and re-designations are subject to shareholder approval via a postal ballot process.
