Akzo Nobel India Limited announced significant changes in its Board of Directors following a meeting held on January 9, 2026. Mr. Shantanu Maharaj Khosla has been appointed as an Additional Director in the category of an Independent Director, effective from January 9, 2026, for a term of three years until January 8, 2029. Mr. Khosla brings extensive experience from his 32-year tenure at P&G, where he led significant growth and integration efforts in India. He also previously served as the Managing Director of Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited and currently sits on the boards of several other companies.

Furthermore, Mr. Rajiv Rajgopal has been re-designated from Chairman and Managing Director to "Joint Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer," effective January 9, 2026. Mr. Rajgopal has been with AkzoNobel since 2013 and has held various leadership positions within the company and its group.

In another key appointment, Mr. Parth Jindal has joined the Board as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Director (Non-independent), also effective January 9, 2026. Concurrently, Mr. Jindal has been designated as the Chairman of the Company. Mr. Jindal is the Managing Director of JSW Cement Limited and JSW Paints Limited and has over 14 years of experience in management and finance. His appointment and Mr. Khosla's appointment are subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
