Akzo Nobel India Limited announced significant changes in its board and management following a meeting held on January 9, 2026.

The board appointed Mr. Shantanu Maharaj Khosla as an Additional Director in the category of an Independent Director, effective January 9, 2026, for a period of three years until January 8, 2029. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval.

Furthermore, Mr. Rajiv Rajgopal has been re-designated from Chairman and Managing Director to Joint Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, effective January 9, 2026. His other terms of appointment remain unchanged.

In addition, Mr. Parth Jindal has been appointed as an Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Director (Non-independent) and designated as the Chairman of the Company, effective January 9, 2026. This appointment also requires shareholder approval.

Mr. Shantanu Maharaj Khosla brings over 43 years of experience, including a significant tenure at P&G India. Mr. Rajiv Rajgopal has over 31 years of experience across various industries and has been with AkzoNobel since 2013. Mr. Parth Jindal is the Managing Director of JSW Cement Limited and JSW Paints Limited, with over 14 years of experience in management and finance.

The board meeting commenced at 6:00 pm and concluded at 7:10 pm.
