Aditya Infotech Limited has received a favorable order from the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) concerning income tax litigation for Assessment Year 2019-20.

The company had previously challenged an assessment order dated September 30, 2021, which had raised a tax demand of approximately ₹18.96 crore (including interest) based on alleged additional income of ₹40.38 crore. An appeal was filed before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals).

The Commissioner has substantially allowed the appeal, resulting in the waiver of additions aggregating to approximately ₹36.78 crore. This brings the net addition down to ₹3.60 crore. The company had already deposited ₹3.80 crore to stay the demand until the appeal's disposal. The company believes the remaining ₹3.60 crore are legitimate expenses and plans to file a further appeal against this order.

The order was received by the company on January 15, 2026. The company believes the demand and penalty levied will not have a material impact on its financials, operations, or other activities.
