Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced its provisional operational update for the 9-month period of FY26 (ending December 2025). The company reported a significant 48% year-on-year increase in operational capacity, reaching 17.2 GW. This includes a greenfield capacity addition of 3 GW during 9M FY26, which constitutes over 90% of the total capacity addition in FY25. The Sale of Energy also saw a substantial rise of 37% year-on-year, amounting to 27,636 million units in 9M FY26, nearly equivalent to the entire annual Sale of Energy in FY25. The company's solar portfolio maintained a Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 23.7% with 99.1% plant availability. The wind portfolio reported a CUF of 29.2% with 95.5% plant availability, and the hybrid portfolio achieved a CUF of 34.8% with 98.5% plant availability. AGEL was also recognized as the No. 1 utility in Energy Intelligence's Annual Global Top 100 Green Utilities Rankings for 2025, moving up from third place. The company has further integrated the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework into its operations and received awards for Water Stewardship and Clean Energy.
