Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has announced its provisional operational updates for the third quarter of FY26 (Q3 FY26).
The company's transmission business saw a significant boost with the win of the KPS III (Khavda South Olpad) HVDC project, taking the total order book to ₹77,787 crore. During the quarter, AESL fully commissioned the North Karanpura Transmission Line (NKTL), operationalizing 299 ckm, and maintained a robust system availability of 99.69%.
In the distribution business, AEML in Mumbai reported an improvement in distribution loss to 4.22% in YTD FY26 from 4.91% in YTD FY25, with supply reliability at 99.998%. Total units sold in Mumbai were 2,487 MUs. MUL in Mundra saw a 57% YoY growth in units sold to 371 million units (MUs), driven by industrial demand.
The smart metering business installed 18.88 lakh new meters in Q3FY26, reaching a total of 92.5 lakh smart meters. The company is on track to surpass its guidance of 1 crore cumulative meters by the end of FY26. The order book for smart meters stands at 2.46 crore meters with a revenue potential of ₹29,519 crore.
AESL also highlighted improvements in its ESG score, receiving a rating of "71" from NSE Sustainability Ratings & Analytics Limited for FY2025. The Rajnandgaon substation received an award for service excellence, and the smart metering business was recognized for its AI-ML powered tool.
