ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Eco Clean Energy Pvt Ltd, has commissioned an additional 12 MW of a wind power project located in Surendranagar, Gujarat. This expansion brings the total operational capacity of the wind project to 68 MW out of a planned 100 MW, which is being commissioned in phases.

The ACME Eco Clean Energy wind power project was financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and constructed using the company's in-house EPC capabilities, deploying SANY's 4 MW turbines. The power generated will be sold under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed between ACME Eco Clean and Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.

The commissioning of the additional 12 MW was observed by officials from GEDA and PGVCL, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOM) for the commissioning has been signed. A formal certificate is expected shortly.
